America The Land of OpportunitiesIn modern day society, a college degree targets to people making particular assumptions about an item-by-items capabilities, which proceed to shape social generalizations that may assist or inhibit the success of an soulfulness in the stinting system or commerce market. Universal standards form by dint ofout the job market as a result of those assumptions made about students who imitate college that may not encourage a full understanding of an individuals ability to perform his duties. The assumptions made about a college facts of life demonstrate the general principles of reductionism, in which people follow a reproducible approach according to his observations. Society assumes that people who string up prestigious universities are capable and astute individuals. After having told people that I go to Mount Holyoke College, I have had people expect that I am a capable and intelligent woman solely establish on the universitys image. By offering me an opportunity simply on the basis that I attend Mount Holyoke, both Mount Holyoke alumni and society follow image and cut through others chances through erroneous means.
